So you have needs. It’s okay.
We all do.
It actually doesn’t make you super special. It’s because you are human.
And that’s okay.
Really.
You, and everyone else, has needs to fulfill. And maybe a handful of wants. I am pretty fond of indoor plumbing (warm water is my favorite), and dishwashers and many more things I could technically do without.
And, it’s okay. It doesn’t make me a burden. Or you.
Really. Even if someone said you were. I mean, okay, technically, you were a burden. And someone decided to pick you up. Someone helped you find food, and learn to walk, and on and on - and likely several someones.
They likely did it because you were cute. Precocious. Mischievous. Your smile would light up the room. And still does.
It’s totally okay that you have needs (because it’s not like it’s even a choice you have) and it’s okay to rely on other people to help meet those needs.
It’s okay to need touch, and hugs and love just as much as food and water and transportation.
Really.
