So, you are needy. So what?

Get used to it. You may no longer have a diaper to change, or cry for your binky (although, it feels tempting sometimes) - you have basic needs that you need filled.

Out on a limb - I would put air first. Oxygen. Cannot go long without that.

Then, water. Can only go a few days without water - max.

Food after that - a few weeks maybe.

Shelter - some place to sleep, if not call home. Having a place, whether it is a tent or a hut or 3-bedroom split-level in the suburbs. Somewhere to be. Dry and safe, is best.

Family/ Community, whatever form it takes. The people you are nearest to, physically - hopefully family AND friends AND more. People who smile at you in the grocery store or bring you soup when you are sick. It, as they say, “takes a village” - and you deserve a whole TEAM to look after you.

I myself see a doctor, dentist, therapist, massage therapist and additional mental health specialists on the regular.

..and then there is everything else:

I have medications I take daily and weekly - brush my teeth at least daily (working on twice daily), floss daily (okay three times a week), daily and weekly self-care rituals, clean clothes, a houseful of stuff and a car.

Some of this is wants and some amount of this is things I need.
